Moving away from winter & recent changes

The months have flown by since we stepped into 2016 and it won’t be long until we’ve completed our first year of trading. In the past few weeks we’ve made some changes and additions to the business and there will be plenty more to come in the next few months!

We have introduced a number of new food items to our menu and we are happy to say that they are all homemade! A soup of the day is now available to eat in or take away and we are constantly changing and experimenting with different ingredients and flavours. Several sandwiches are now featured on our menu and include some exciting combinations of Italian meats, cheeses and vegetables on sourdough bread freshly baked just down the street. All of our cakes are now homemade locally and the range features a strong lineup of some fantastically made classics. Full details of our new items can be found on our food section on the main website page.

We’re  also proud to introduce our brilliant new resident pianist Jack Baldus; a professional musician from Bristol. You can now hear him here every Friday evening from 8pm, playing a variety of styles that go hand in hand with great wine and food and guarantees a relaxing start to the weekend! Thanks to the quirky layout of our building and the fact that all the floors are open plan, the sound of the piano reaches all 3 floors inside, meaning that you can still sit upstairs or downstairs and enjoy the music all the same! We do however recommend making a reservation if you would like to sit at any of the tables near the piano so you don’t miss out if you want to see an expert play the way he does!

Keep an eye out for changes to the food menu and wine list as the weather moves towards warmer, sunnier days as we will strive to continue to evolve and keep things fresh and exciting!
